The Plexiglas / Mirror Skies series marked Salvatore Pecoraro’s return to painting while expanding his fascination with the sky through reflection, transparency, and geometry. Using mirrors, layered Plexiglas, and carefully composed photographs as source material, he created paintings that transform ordinary skies into complex, multi-dimensional compositions. The series bridges landscape and abstraction, exploring light, space, and perception through an innovative combination of natural imagery and industrial materials.
